In April 2026, the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) Management Committee of Thailand released an annual infrastructure expansion list. The list includes the addition of 4 international exhibition and convention centers, 3 professional stadiums with a capacity of 10,000 people, and multiple cultural tourism and performance towns in Rayong, Chonburi, and Pattaya. All these facilities are planned to be equipped with complete high-definition LED main screens, liftable ground screens, professional stage lighting, full-area sound amplification systems, and performance control systems.

 

The EEC zone projects can BOI's double tax incentives. Audio-visual system integrators will be invited to bid in multiple batches for general contracting by 2026, and Chinese sound-light complete equipment manufacturers can directly participate in the bidding.
