Recently, Gold Mantis signed a six-year strategic cooperation memorandum of understanding worth a total of USD 2.3 billion with Vietnam’s Sun Group. The two parties reached in-depth cooperation focusing on architecture, interior design and engineering construction, to jointly undertake key national-level projects in Vietnam.
As the exclusive strategic partner for the projects, Gold Mantis will take full charge of the interior design and construction of the Phu Quoc Island Airport Complex.

Developed as core infrastructure by Vietnam to host the APEC 2027 Summit, the complex will evolve into a pivotal international aviation hub in Southeast Asia upon completion. Beyond this project, the enterprise will also construct multiple international conference venues and high-end cultural tourism reception facilities supporting the APEC Summit, delivering mature Chinese construction solutions.
In recent years, Vietnam has ramped up investment in international conferences, cultural tourism and transportation infrastructure, fueling booming prospects for Southeast Asia’s cultural tourism and exhibition sectors. Demand for airports, exhibition centers, luxury hotels and integrated resort complexes keeps surging. This landmark large-scale cross-border partnership also opens brand-new opportunities for domestic manufacturers of LED displays, lighting, audio and performance equipment to tap into the ASEAN market.
A professional industry exhibition targeting the ASEAN market, dedicated to LED displays, lighting, audio and performance equipment, will be held in Thailand from October 29 to 31. Riding on the construction boom of cultural tourism and exhibition infrastructure across Southeast Asia, the show builds a business exchange platform for Chinese equipment manufacturers to connect with local large-scale infrastructure projects, resort complexes and conference venues.
